Is cinnamon butter healthy?
This recipe can be very nutritious, seeing that you make it with high quality fats and raw honey! Pair this butter along with a carb and a protein, and you’ll have a nutritious, pro-metabolic meal to support your body. This cinnamon honey butter is made without powdered sugar, so the only sweetener is the raw honey.
I made this recipe with nourishing, high quality ingredients so that it will be beneficial for our health, and not damaging. I used grass-fed butter for a high quality fat and extra nutrients, and I used raw honey for the many anti-bacterial and nourishing benefits.
It’s so nice to find ways to use raw honey that don’t require any heat!
Does cinnamon honey butter need to be refrigerated?
I am comfortable leaving butter out at room temperature because we go through it quickly, and this butter also has honey mixed in, which will help it last even longer!
If it is above 75 degrees in your house, I would recommend storing this cinnamon honey butter in the refrigerator, because I find that butter spoils more quickly in warmer temperatures.
If it’s cool in your house, you shouldn’t have any trouble keeping this butter at room temperature for at least a week
I store mine in an airtight container to keep it from picking up any odd flavors.
When you store it in the refrigerator, make sure to keep it in an airtight container as well!
